Software partition manager
With time passing by, bad track on computer disk happens a lot. It is because repeatedly accessing data in disk will decrease usage life of disk and increase bad track rate. You should know that bad track on disk brings users inconvenience and loss. Is there a solution to preventing such a situation? Maybe the first thing coming into your mind is to backup important data with data backup software. Indeed, backup is a good solution to avoiding data loss caused by bad track. However, there is another better solution – using professional partition manager software to copy the whole partition.
What is partition copy?
Partition copy is actually one basic function of excellent partition manager software. It is a way to backup data. Compared with using data backup software, partition manager software is more suitable for backing up important data. Using data backup software to backup data will change original file format so that we can't directly use backup data. And if original data is updated, we have to manually backup updated data. The operation is so complex. But partition manager software copies the whole partition that is not changed. After copying, we can intuitively use backup data and update timely. Therefore, it is more suitable for backing up important partition.
How to use partition manager to copy partition
To copy partition, we need a powerful partition manager software. It is suggested to use MiniTool Partition Wizard, which has very powerful functions and simpler operating process that every user can realize copying work easily.
Primarily, visit http://www.partitionmanagerserver.com to download MiniTool Partition Wizard and install it:

This is main interface of MiniTool Partition Wizard. Select target partition and then click on "Copy" button:

Select an unallocated space to save copied partition. For better data security, if there is any other disk, it is better to save copied partition to other disk. After setting, click "Next>" button:

In this interface, we can set size and location of copied partition (the option marked with red frame is where we can set if we allow resizing partition). If we want to keep original size we should uncheck this option and click "Finish" button:

Returning to main interface, we can preview clearly that one copied partition that is the same with original partition appears in appointed unallocated location. Click "Apply" button and MiniTool Partition Wizard will start executing all operations. After executing, all work of copying partition with MiniTool Partition Wizard is done.
If you try to visit copied partition at this time, you will find that this partition isn't displayed in computer. That is because we haven't set a drive letter for copied partition in case of misoperation. When we need to access copied partition, we should use "Change Drive Letter" function of MiniTool Partition Wizard to set a drive letter for copied partition.
